Have you ever felt like following God's calling on your life has caused you to lose friends, loved ones, or even relationships you once held dear? Throughout the Bible, God has always set apart his people for a Greater Purpose. But separation can be painful - so how do we stay Faithful, even when it feels like we're walking alone?

In this Podcast discussion we talk about "When God Separates You" and a couple of Biblical Stories of Gods chosen ones being separated including Abraham, Moses and the Israelites, Jesus Disciples, also Lot and his family. From experience, I went through a dark valley when my older sister passed away in her sleep at the tender young age of 55 years old. I felt lost, confused and didn't understand why. A prayer to God, why her?? She was loved by anyone she came across and she loved everyone unconditionally, asking nothing in return from them. At that moment of her passing I went through the dark valley and separated myself from my mom, sisters, family and friends. I needed a time to just seek God and find my hope in him because I did not know how to get through this valley. It was the hardest time for me but in that moment I found his light, his love and ultimately my way and purpose in this time of separation. And because of this reliance on God, I was able to fulfill so much of my life purpose in the past 2 years since my sister went home to be with the Lord, than any other time of my life. Although I miss my sister dearly, I am eternally grateful of my time in that dark valley and seeking God to restore my hope in him and fulfill my purpose here on earth.
