Have you ever felt like God was calling you to do something but you ran the other way instead? Maybe it was starting that business, stepping into ministry, writing that book, or leaving that toxic relationship. Perhaps you've convinced yourself that you're not qualified enough, not ready or just not interested.

In this podcast we discuss the Biblical story of Jonah who ran away from God's calling, though he was told to go one way, he ran the other. And through this, he faced a major obstacle, yet through that obstacle he was saved, repented, prayed and eventually fulfilled God's calling. So how much of us can relate to that? Knowing there's a calling God has on your life, but you're still running the other way. Me, I can definetly relate to that. Many years ago, I was in a ladies church life group and while I was praying, I had a vision of what i believed God was showing me what I would be doing if I followed him. Of course I totally ran the opposite direction, forgetting about this vision, now after maybe 10-15 years later can I recall that vision clearly and seeing that fruition coming to pass. Would I have saved me 10-15 years of disappointments and failed dreams if I heeded his calling all those years ago, possible, but like Jonah I am so grateful God continued to pursue me knowing he's still waiting for me to fulfill my calling in this life as well as God's still pursing you on your calling, trust him and your life will never be the same.
