"From Favored to Forgotten? When Life Falls Apart like Job's" 03/14/25

Ever felt like life just flipped on your overnight? One minute, everything is good, your career is blossoming. Then suddenly...everything crumbles. Maybe you've lost a job, a loved one, a relationship, or even your sense of purpose. Sounds familiar?

In this podcast we discuss the Biblical story of Job, a man who had it all, lost it all but kept his faith in God that eventually God restored everything back to him. Everytime I struggle through a situation or feel like I'm going through a tribulation, Job story also comes to my mind. Though my circumstances is not as extreme or heavy as Job, I look to his story to remind me of the ending the results when my Faith endures the trials. In this last trial I faced I had to walk away from a management position to a clerk position which cut my pay more than half. Was it hard for me, absolutely! And our financial struggles only reminded me of the decision I made. However, I have to remind myself that through this decision I was able to have less stressful responsibilities and that propelled me to do what I love to do which is doing the Lords work launching so many opportunities including this podcast and blogging. So does my Faith outweigh my Regret and Fear, absolutely because I've seen when I trust in the Lord and proceed in the work with action, I leave the results up to him, and seen it flourish. No matter what struggles you are going through, let your Faith carry you and see what the Lord will do.
