In times of inflation when everything is pretty much going up and you can't seem to pay the bills, buy groceries or even wonder how you'll get through the rest of the week?
In this podcast we discuss Faith over Fears and Trusting God like the Biblical story of the widow who trusted Elijah's words in a time of famine which ultimately changed her outcome and life. There has been many times I myself struggled through life especially in my younger years when I was a single mom of 2 boys. I had to work Full-time, Hotel Management and also Broadcasting school at nights also work Part-time over the weekends in order to provide a roof over me and my kids heads as well as provide for daily necessities including food. I have been so thankful we have never been homeless nor went to bed with an empty stomach though my boys can attest we ate alot of can goods or whatever was on sale. Those humbling moments was I believe the memories I cherish the most with my boys as we struggled together and took care of each other. We didn't have much but what we did we were grateful for. I remember 1 of their birthday parties we went to my sisters house to celebrate with their cousins (her kids) and we made cardboard box cars and they had a race with each other while we made obstacles for them to race in, then cake and a sleepover. I believe it was the best party to remember because it brought us together and really cherished spending time together with lilttle to nothing . Now my 2 sons are grown men and my youngest is 17 years old, though those times of struggling to meet ends meet has long been behind me as I have been blessed with a spouse who helps in providing and raising our son it has been an honor to experience those humbling moments of struggle in my younger years, which I can only live the dream of sharing my experiences and fulfilling my purpose where ever the Lord may lead.
