If there's a voice that can bring sunshine and keep the good vibes flowing, it's none other than Nani! Born with a passion for radio and a love for sharing joy, I have been lighting up the airwaves since 2000.
As a once single mom with two sons my journey into radio began graduating from Columbia School of Broadcasting and an internship at an AM rock station, which led to being on an 80s hits station, Hawaiian favorites, and even Disney Channel tunes on FM. Eventually, I landed a full-time gig at The Fish Hawaii, but in 2007 I remarried and put a pause on my radio career to embrace my most treasured role—mom to another boy. In 2017, the mic called me back, and I've been gracing the airwaves ever since, including my current role as a Saturday morning host for an Oldies station and my time as "Mornings with Nani" at Z Radio The Mix, a beloved Christian station to now in the works of a kids/womens christian radio station online.
Off the air, I am a powerhouse of creativity! Whether it’s crafting, Podcasting a Women's ministry, emceeing weddings and major events, writing blogs or books, uploading videos for a Fruit Of the Spirit YouTube Channel for kids or bringing stories and lessons to life as a Sunday School Children's Coordinator at my church, I pour my heart into everything I do, and when the weekend hits, I’m back on the mic, doing what I love most—radio.
As a proud local Hawaii resident, wife, and mother of three ranging from 17 to 32, I embody warmth, talent, and a deep love for connecting with my God, my Ohana, my friends and anyone I meet. With a voice of energy, a passion for entertainment, I plan to keep rocking the mic for as long as the airwaves will have me and God continues to use me for his purpose and will, wherever he leads.
